▪ Covered 20 countries
▪ Around 200 computers got connected
 80s:
▪ NSFNET was established on 1986
▪ Active research started on the Internet Technologies
▪ ARPANET was closed on 1990, and got named as the Internet
▪ ISPs were created on 1989
▪ So everyone got the opportunity to get connected to the Internet
▪ ISOC (Internet Society) was established on 1992
▪ Now, you can connect to the Internet using cell phones
