Thematic Session 2 Networked Media: State-of-the-art and IST Call 1 Objectives Skopje, 15 December 2006 Introduction Networked Media Numerous electronic devices are connected to a network, and media files are accessed from anywhere via the network Europe is well placed in the worldwide race to develop the networks and service infrastructures of the future.
