(TUCC) Foundation for local prostate cancer screening, community education and research efforts.
It is estimated that more than 192,000 American men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer this year, with
one case occurring every 2.7 minutes. More than 3,000 Colorado men are diagnosed with the disease
every year. Prostate cancer will touch almost all American men and their families at some point in their
lives. But, when detected at an early stage, prostate cancer is a highly curable disease.
TUCC Foundation’s mission is to advance urologic care in the Rocky Mountain region through advocacy,
research, education and support. The non-profit organization provides free prostate cancer screenings to
hundreds of Colorado men on an annual basis and hosts numerous urologic-focused educational events
for the community. TUCC Foundation will also offer a free prostate cancer screening the morning of The
Blue Shoe Run.
