What are the major organs of your
system? And their jobs
Key Question 1. The respiratory system
main task to supply oxygen to the blood
and getting rid of waste gases.
What are the major functions of
your system?
• Key Question 2. The main purpose of this
system is breathing and getting oxygen to
your lungs.
Why is this system important to
survival?
• Key Question 3. Without oxygen entering
our bodies and carbon dioxide leaving the
body we can’t breathe our lungs inhale or
exhale air into the cavities
Diseases and disorders
• Key Question 4. All these sicknesses are
causes by smoking/smoker some of these
sickness sometimes can be deadly. These
diseases and disorders prevents us from
bringing air to our lungs.

• When people take deep breath the air
enters our lungs and your chest expands
• Our lungs sift oxygen through the air and
diffuse it into your blood
