Although we are only six weeks into the semester, we have already been hard at work on our 2014-2015 MCCTA/Marist Theatre Program season. With two successful shows already under our belt, we look forward to the last show of the fall semester, Bonnie & Clyde, and prep for our busy spring semester ahead. It is my hope that this newsletter will become a staple of our Marist Theatre community, and it will grow through the years to foster a strong relationship with students, alumni, faculty, staff, and audience members! Bonnie & Clyde-MCCTA Musical Death & Taxes, by Phil Lebovtis November 6th, 7th, 8th at 8 pm Directed by Tara Higgins ‘15 November 8th, 9th at 2 pm A murder-mystery dinner theatre show that entertained students and parents as a part of Family Weekend. The show Eve Ensler Show-2015 V-Day Event was accompanied by a full dinner catered by Sodexo Dining Services. February 12th, 13th at 8 pm The Diviners, by Jim Leonard Jr. Godspell-Marist Theatre Program Co-Produced Show Directed by Jim Steinmeyer ‘71 February 26th, 27th, 28th at 8 pm Jim had the chance to direct his favorite show again, but with only one month for the entire process. The result was an incredibly moving and beautiful production that left audiences speechless. The first reading of this play was at Marist in 2013. Congratulations Michelle & Robert! Cassie King ’12 and Molly Cambone ’11 just completed a production of Grease with the Castaway Players. Congrats to these lovely Pink Ladies! While Jim Fedigan ‘87 was out in Colorado loading in lighting for the Pippin national tour, his daughter Molly moved into Marist as a member of the class of 2018. Way to go Fedigan family! Nick Homler ’13 was recently named as a Fulbright scholar, and will travel to New Zealand next year to work on a documentary about movie theatre culture. Best of luck Nick!
