Myth Poem - Reminders
(1) Consistent rhyming pattern (AABB, CCDD)
(2) Minimal use of slant rhymes (3 at the most)
(3) 24 – 32 lines in length
(4) A line is at least 4 words.
(5) The poem must make sense (no “forces”
or false information).
(6) The poem must be grammatically correct.
(7) Lines should match up as far as length and
number of syllables.
(8) Be thorough about your character. Use as
much research as you can.
