SUPPORT AND MOVEMENT • Human body has a total of 206 bones • There are a total of 22 bones in the skull alone • In the ear, there are three bones which are the smallest in the body. About 2cm long • Common names of bones are different than the medical names • • • • Bones Made of cells Reproduce grow • • • • Most bones are made of 6 tissues Cartilage--- tough flexible tissue Cushions where bones come together Ex.
