Ultrasound Case: Calcaneal Osteomyelitis • • • • Diagnosis: Calcaneal Osteomyelitis w/US guided aspiration. History: None Findings: Patient with heel pain (calcaneus). The margin of the calcaneus appears as a bright (echogenic) line. An erosion (white arrow) is present filled with abnormal soft tissue which originates in the subcutaneous fat (green arrows).
