Predicate Adjective • A predicate adjective follows a linking verb and describes the subject. • EXAMPLE: The music is excellent. • EXAMPLE: The beach towel looks old. Capitalizing Proper Adjectives • A proper adjective is an adjective formed from a proper noun. It begins with a capital letter.
