It helps to identify ALL of the prepositional phrases first and eliminate them from the sentence before analyzing it. To remove a prepositional phrase from the sentence, place [brackets] around the phrase, beginning with the preposition and ending with the object of the preposition. Example: In case of rain we will take our umbrellas to the game.
