How to Identify Events in the Plot
• The order of events in a story is the plot.
In many stories, the first event begins with
a problem that the main character has.
Each following event in the story carries
the plot to it’s conclusion, or end. If you
understand the plot, you know the
beginning, the middle and the end of a
story.
