The Church

Most people were Christian in medieval Europe





Some Jewish, Muslim
The Christian leader, the pope was just as
powerful as the king.
Building cathedrals became a major focus
during this time.
Monks are young men that dedicated their life to
the church and they live monasteries
Nuns are women that do the same and live in
convents.

Studied, prayed, cultivated crops, helped the poor,
and went on missions.
