Web Design & Multimedia M. Akbar Web Design • Apa yang anda pikirkan dengan Mata kuliah ini ? Web Design • • Dimana kita mulai ? Membuat Program ? – – – PHP/ASP/JSP/CFM dll (bhs pemr) D W (editor) P S (grafik editor) Proses Desain Kapan? Bagaimana? Apa beda ? • Aplikasi Web • Aplikasi Desktop USER ..... Tujuan • Desktop – Digunakan • Web – – Dikunjungi Dikunjungi lagi Web Design Rules • • Keeping Them Coming Back Rule : – – – – Rule #1: The Web is for reaching out to people. Rule #2: Keep your Web pages clean. Rule #3: Know who your visitors are and what they want. Rule #4: It’s your Web site. It’s your vision. Do it your way. Simply stated,if the customer can’t find a product, then he or she will not buy it. The Web is the ultimate customerempowering environment. He or she who clicks the mouse gets to decide everything. It is so easy to go elsewhere; all the competitors in the world are but a mouseclick away. Learning Styles Cognitive Model of Learning 1. Pembelajaran biasanya dilakukan untuk mendapatkan informasi baru 2. Mengintegrasikan informasi baru kedalam struktur pengetahuan yang ada. 3. Lalu, menyesuaikan cara berfikir (retunes their way of thinking) Learning Styles Constructivism Belajar adalah sebuah pencarian makna 1. Meaning requires understanding wholes as well as parts 2. In order to instruct or teach well, we must understand our students mental models. 3. The purpose of learning is to construct one's own meaning, not to have the "right" answers by repeating someone else's meaning. Dr. David Kolb's 4Mat Constructivistic Model: Learning Styles: We all have our preferred ways to learn something. When catering instruction to a large group, it is important to make sure everyone's needs are addressed. • We perceive experience and information is different ways (Sensing/Feeling or interacting vs. Thinking by yourself). Which do you respond better to? • We process experience and information in different ways (Acting vs. Watching). What are your preferences? (some theorize that students won’t learn unless you pull them out of their comfort zone and make them interact with others -- Why some teachers call on students) • The combinations formed by our own perceiving and processing techniques form our unique learning styles. Usable Easy of Learning How fast can a user, who has never seen the user interface before, learn it sufficiently well to accomplish basic tasks? Efficiency of use Once an experienced user has learned to Use the system, how fast can he or she accomplish tasks? (Is the system still tedious to use?) Memorability If a user has used the system before, can he or she remember enough to use it effectively the next time or does the user have to start over again learning everything? Error frequency How often do users make errors while using the system, how serious are these errors, and how do users recover from these errors? Subjective satisfaction How much does the user like using the system? Diskusi Sebutkan produk apa saja yang disukai ? Alasan? Tugas Carilah 3 buah web site yang sejenis ?
