What is the Circulatory System?
 The Circulatory system is the system with your arteries, vein and heart. Your blood flows
through many parts of your body. They go through the arms, legs, face and neck. The
biggest vein in your body is the Aorta. It goes from the heart and comes around like a
candy cane then in mid-aorta there are veins that spread through out the body. The Aorta
is usually divided into five segments/ section. This long vein extends all the way down
your abdomen. Many diseases can occur in the circulatory system like blood clots and/or
Artery disease. Lots of people have had these problems. So If you have these problems
please see your local doctor.

Some arteries transfer blood from the heart, and some arteries transfer blood to
the heart. There are 4 chambers in the heart. The 2 most important chambers are the
right and left atrium. The right atrium holds deoxygenated blood which the heart sends
it to the lung for oxygen then it is sent to the left atrium. The left Atrium carries the
blood to the Aorta which sends that same blood throughout the rest of the body.

Cholesterol is a bad thing for our arteries so be careful. Cholesterol can clot up in
our arteries and create a blood clot. When you have a blood clot called Atherosclerosis
the cholesterol clots up in the bottom of the artery and creates plaque.

How the Circulatory System Works!
 The circulatory system provides nutrients such as amino acids and electrolytes. And it
also forms cells to help prevent diseases. This system may be seen strictly as a blood
distribution network, but some consider the circulatory system as composed of the
cardiovascular system which provides blood. The circulatory system’s job is to transport
materials through out the body. Now, the heart is an amazing organ. In an average life
spam, it beats 3 billion times! If you smoke, it will make your heart unhealthy. So, don't
Smoke! Don't Smoke! Don't Smoke! Don't Smoke! Don't Smoke! You can also eat healthy
and exercise for great health. If you hold up your fist, your heart is about the size of it.
