Chicory is a garden plant common along roadsides, fences, and trashy areas;
seldom troublesome in grain fields.

Control: Chicory is usually controlled in fields with crop rotation.
chemical control is needed, apply 1 pound 2,4-D ester per acre before bloom for
best control.
