The IUI Opportunity Plan
The only all-inclusive IUI treatment plan that includes both oral and
injectable medications.
In many cases, patients who are having trouble conceiving and achieving a successful pregnancy are treated with monitored
ovulation induction and intrauterine insemination (IUI). These procedures are among the most widely used and successful
treatment options in reproductive medicine. To help make sure that our patients can access the high-quality care they need,
RMA of Connecticut offers The IUI Opportunity Plan. With The IUI Opportunity Plan patients at RMACT who do not have
any insurance coverage can pay one price for up to three cycles of intrauterine insemination with oral and injectable medications.
How The IUI Opportunity Plan works:
Eligible patients are treated for up to three cycles of monitored ovulation induction and intrauterine insemination with oral or
injectable medications for a fee of $6,300. This includes:
• IUI Education class (“Teach class”)
• Initial baseline blood work and ultrasound to start your cycle
• Medications necessary for ovulation induction. Injectable
gonadotropins added to treatment protocols in the last two
cycles if applicable
• As many in-cycle monitoring appointments as your cycle
requires (blood work and ultrasounds during morning
monitoring hours)
• IUI Sperm preparations (one per cycle)
• Intrauterine inseminations (one per cycle)
Patient financing plans offered by some fertility centers try to reduce costs in many ways, such as not including any medications in
their plan. Our plan treats each and every patient with the highest quality medical care and services including optimal doses of all
medications to achieve a successful pregnancy.
What is NOT included in RMACT’s IUI Opportunity Plan
• All costs associated with the initial fertility work-up,
including:
»» Checklist blood work including any required follow-up
testing
»» Uterine Evaluation (HSG, SIS/SHG, hysteroscopy)
• Any outside monitoring
• Sperm freezing
• Pregnancy testing at the conclusion of each cycle
• Medical treatment subsequent to your IUI cycle such as a
miscarriage, biochemical pregnancy or an ectopic pregnancy.
• Any fertility treatments beyond your third IUI cycle if you
are not yet pregnant. The IUI Opportunity Plan is only for up
to three cycles as noted above.

In most cases, patients who fail to become pregnant following three cycles of IUI with oral and injectable medication should consider
treatment with In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). RMA of Connecticut also offers an IVF Opportunity Plan for patients who want an
affordable option for high-quality treatment involving IVF.
