Advanced Computational Biology
CSE-953
Graduate Course Offered at H-12 Campus
Introduction
Bioinformatics is the science of
managing and analyzing large-scale
molecular biology data. The course is
designed to identify interesting
patterns and complex behaviors
within living systems that would be
difficult or impossible to see without
the use of computers in combination
with biology and statistics.

Dr. Kahkeshan Hijazi is working as an Assistant Professor at Research Center for
Modeling and Simulation, National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST),
Pakistan. Her expertise in Bioinformatics gives her great experience in application of
techniques from computer science and statistics to identify and understand patterns
in the ever-more complex datasets produced by genome-wide profiling technologies.
