In Franco’s Spain, an Israeli scholar
is caught stealing a confidential
Inquisition file. An interrogation
follows, reviving the 15th Century
story of a Catholic priest whose faith
is tested when he finds himself in
love with a Jewish woman. Conviction
is an award-winning play based on a
true story of the Spanish Inquisition.

THE NATIONAL
CIVIL RIGHTS MUSEUM
Proudly support this production.
By idolizing those whom we honor, we do a disservice both to them
and to ourselves. By exalting the accomplishments of Martin Luther
King, Jr. into a legendary tale that is annually told, we fail to recognize
his humanity-his personal and public struggles-that are similar to yours and
mine. By idolizing those whom we honor, we fail to realize that we could go
and do likewise.
