After receiving heartbreaking news, she is forced to work in servitude. Sara struggles to keep her spirits up but makes remarkable discoveries that may change her seemingly bleak fate. Everyone Works Hard and Learns Everything At All-of-us, everybody works on both sides of the curtain. Pinocchio Adapted for Children’s Theatre from the Carlo Collodi Classic by John Baldwin, Jr. Backstage, our youth learn how to run lights and sound, and work on props, costumes, sets and makeup. Children can also help out by being ushers or working on our lobby displays—among many other things. Glissandra the Blue Fairy grants Geppetto’s longtime wish of having a son. Pinocchio, who wishes become a real boy, goes on an adventure filled with danger and temptation that takes him far from home. Will Pinocchio find his way back and finally become a real boy? Every child who has a role on stage must next serve on a crew of their choice. This ensures that everyone has a fair chance to learn everything that All-of-us Express has to offer. It is the mission of All-of-us Express Children’s Theatre to offer young people of all backgrounds, cultures, and lifestyles the opportunity to produce professional quality plays, study many aspects of the dramatic arts and develop valuable life skills while providing outstanding entertainment to the community. Once upon a time, there lived an ogre named Shrek. One day, he finds his swamp invaded by fairytale misfits who have been cast off by the terrible Lord Farquaad. When Shrek sets off with Donkey to confront Farquaad, he learns he must rescue Princess Fiona to get his swamp back. Youth ages 9-18 will now be able to work one-on-one with a professional actor and experienced director. You will be taught the basics of acting, and how to best prepare for an audition. Choose a script (or two) that you’d like to work on – either from home, or from our inventory. Youth will be coached on all of the things directors are looking for - emotion, movement, volume, and more! Classes are offered in six-session blocks for one hour per session, based on your schedule.
