ABOUT THE CAST Sarah Augustine, daughter of Dennis and Patricia Augustine, is a freshman at Iowa Central with plans to major in radio broadcasting. Sarah is involved with Concert Choir, Vocal Jazz, and works at the college radio station. She enjoys hanging out with friends, shopping, singing, and listening to music. Her stage experience includes plays and musicals throughout high school with her favorite performance being Bloody Mary in South Pacific during her senior year. Sarah has most enjoyed meeting new people and making new friends during this production and wants everyone to know, “We worked very hard to give a good show.” Keith Baedke, son of Frank and Carol Baedke, is a sophomore at Iowa Central with plans to major in music. Keith is involved with Concert Choir, Encore Singers, Concert Band, and Jazz Band. His stage experience includes Guys and Dolls, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Jesus Christ Superstar, Pink Panther Strikes Again, Pirates of Penzance, and Music Man with his favorite performances being Jesus Christ Superstar and Pirates of Penzance. Keith has most enjoyed attempting to breakdance with his fellow McBean and attempting to be an emcee during this production and wants everyone to know, “I love you all and star bellied sneeches rule!” Eric Bill, son of Patricia and Duane Bill, is a freshman at Iowa Central with plans to major in music. Eric is involved with Concert Choir, Vocal Jazz, and Encore Singers. He enjoys music and theatre. His stage experience includes Wizard of Oz. Eric has most enjoyed the star off machine during this production and wants everyone to know, “It was really me who made up the dances, not the others.” Bashir Britt, son of Yvette Britt, is a sophomore here at Iowa Central with plans to major in business or acting and then transfer to a Divsion I school. Bashir is involved with football and enjoys acting in his spare time. His stage experience includes a minor role in the movie Juice, with his favorite performance being a soldier in Jesus Christ Superstar. Bashir has most enjoyed working with two talented females in Laurice and Mrs. Jackson during this production and wants everyone to know that he will try his best not to forget his lines. Mitch Brokaw, son of Gary and Karen Oleson, is a freshman at Iowa Central with plans to major in theatre and broadcasting. Mitch is the “drive-up king” at Randall’s and enjoys doing things that are fun. His stage experience includes two high school musicals and his eighth grade musical. Mitch has most enjoyed being a part of something so great during this production and wants everyone to know, “Be a part of something that makes you feel like you’re on top of the world.” Laurice Brown, daughter of Jerry and Lynn Pedersen, is a sophomore at Iowa Central with plans to major in musical theatre and have Rosie O’Donnell pay for her to go to UCLA or Webster. Laurice is involved with Girl Scouts and Comedia Musica Players. She enjoys idolizing Julie Andrews, Bob Fosse, Jason Robert Brown, Bernadette Peters and every other member of the Actor’s Studio. Her stage experience includes almost 20 local productions and being the assistant stage manager/swing performer last summer at Surflight Theatre in New Jersey. Her favorite performances are Rosie in Bye Bye Birdie and Alice Beane’s understudy in Titanic. Laurice has most enjoyed venting during this production and wants everyone to know, “The happy exterior is all a facade. I’m evil!” Mike Busch, son of Al and Katie Busch, is a sophomore at Iowa Central with plans to major in business. Mike is involved with theatre, his hometown band, and his part-time job at Tradehome Shoes. He enjoys playing guitar, listening to music, and partying. His stage experience includes various high school and college performances, with his favorite being Harold Hill in The Music Man. Mike has most enjoyed the fun “laid back” rehearsals during this production and wants everyone to know that he’s from Minnesota, not Iowa. Dustin Christensen, son of Steve and Lonna Christensen, is a sophomore at Iowa Central with plans to major in broadcasting and works at 88.1 the point. Dustin works at Ron’s Car Wash and enjoys partying and socializing. His stage experience includes Fools and Jesus Christ Superstar. His favorite performance was being an Apostle in Jesus Christ Superstar. Dustin has most enjoyed making so many new acquaintances during this production and wants everyone to know, “Wherever you go, go with a smile, and make people wonder what you’ve been doing.” Brad Davidson, son of Bruce and Michelle Davidson, is a sophomore at Iowa Central with plans to major in business and transfer to the University of Northern Iowa. Brad is involved with the theatre and music departments and enjoys singing, dancing, and acting. His stage experience includes You Can’t Take It With You and Jesus Christ Superstar. His favorite performance is Jesus Christ Superstar. Brad has most enjoyed working with a lot of talented people during this production and wants everyone to know, “This is the most entertaining group that I have ever worked with.” Andrea Elias, daughter of John and Arlyce Elias, is a freshman at Iowa Central with plans to major in business and transfer to Iowa State University. Andrea works at Applebee’s and enjoys sports and hanging out with friends. Her stage experience includes four years of plays and speech. Andrea has most enjoyed learning choreography and meeting everyone during this production and wants everyone to know it was a great experience.” Cyrus Fees, son of John and Deanna Fees, is a freshman at Iowa Central with plans to major in broadcasting and transfer to a four-year institution. Cyrus is involved with KICB, The Collegian, Student Senate, and Theatre. He enjoys sports, acting, and music. His stage experience includes three years in drama and major roles in two musicals, with his favorite performance being Vince Fontaine in Grease. Cyrus has most enjoyed the dancing and blocking during this production. Melissa Garber, daughter of Ken and Deb Garber, is a sophomore at Iowa Central with plans to major in Language Arts and transfer to the University of Northern Iowa to get a B.A. and M.A. in communication studies to teach English and Speech at the college level. Melissa is involved with R.A. activities and working at the Fashion Bug. She enjoys being with friends, riding horses, taking pictures, and jet skiing. Her stage experience includes the Donna Reed Acting Festival, one act plays, and musicals at camp. Her favorite performance is Red Pilot Rogers this past summer. Melissa has most enjoyed working with so many people and making new friends during this production and wants everyone, “to live, love, laugh and make everyone you meet feel special. Plus, this play is so much fun and full of excitement.” Adam Grieser, son of William Grieser and Cynthia VanGuilder, is a freshman at Iowa Central with plans to major in theatre and transfer to Iowa State University. Adam is involved with Encore Singers and Concert Choir. He enjoys singing and acting. His stage experience includes four years of musicals and plays, with his favorite performance being Grease. Adam has most enjoyed working with the actors during this production and wants everyone to know that it has been a pleasure working with such talented individuals and instructors. Mrs. Jackson has done a terrific job with this play. Sarah Gregory, daughter of Jerry and Virginia Gregory, is a sophomore at Iowa Central with plans to major in elementary education and attend Iowa State University next fall. Sarah works at the Sears Portrait Studio and enjoys photography. Her stage experience includes being the narrator in James and the Giant Peach in fourth grade. Sarah has most enjoyed the fun rehearsals and meeting new people during this production and wants everyone to know, “Falling down really hurts! I have the bruises to prove it!” Nichole Groat, daughter of Tim and Martha Passoa, is a freshman at Iowa Central with plans to major in business and transfer to Iowa State University. Nichole is a Sunday school teacher and works at the Buckle. She enjoys running, rollerblading, and being with friends. Her stage experience includes three years of plays and speech, with her favorite performance being Murder in the Magnolias. Nichole has most enjoyed being a star belly sneech during this production and wants everyone to know, “This has been a wonderful opportunity.” Wyatt Haas, son of Jack and Marie Haas, is a sophomore at Iowa Central with plans to major in radio broadcasting. Wyatt is involved with KICB and enjoys fast cars and loud music. His stage experience includes Fools and Jesus Christ Superstar, with his favorite performance being Fools. Wyatt has most enjoyed the inspired music during this production and wants everyone to know, “Cartoons aren’t just for kids.” Jeremy Hamp, son of Nathan and Marcia Hamp, is a freshman at Iowa Central with plans to major in theatre and public relations or business management and transfer to a four-year university. Jeremy is involved with Theatre, Concert Choir, Encore Singers, and Jazz Band. He enjoys trying to play the guitar, drumming, and listening to the Dave Matthews Band. His stage experience includes junior high and high school productions along with Princess City Players Community Theatre, with his favorite performance being Lost in Younkers by Neil Simon. Jeremy has most enjoyed working with Teresa Jackson and the cast during this production. Misty Jones, daughter of Scott and Karen Monical, is a sophomore at Iowa Central with plans to major in secondary education and transfer to the University of Northern Iowa next fall. Misty is involved with Concert Band, Concert Choir, Encore Singers, Dance Line, and working at the Buckle. She enjoys being a full-time mommy to Karlie Kay and being with her forever faithful, loving and caring friends. Her stage experience includes Jesus Christ Superstar, with her favorite performances being Jesus Christ Superstar and Rent. Misty has most enjoyed the long, hard, relentless practices with her favorite director and friend, Teresa Jackson, during this production and wants everyone to know, “being a part of the Iowa Central Theatre Department was something I never planned to be involved with, but is the best thing I’ve ever chosen to do.” Kari Kaufman, daughter of Dean and Teresa Kaufman, is a freshman at Iowa Central with plans to major in mass communications and transfer to Iowa State University. Kari is involved with the Encore Singers and the Collegian, and enjoys spending time with friends. Her stage experience includes The Wizard of Oz, The Pajama Game, and Jesus Christ Superstar. Her favorite performance is playing Gladys in The Pajama Game. Kari has most enjoyed falling repeatedly on the hard wooden floors during this production and wants everyone to know, “Falling hurts.” Rachel Kruse, daughter of Leland and Norine Kruse, is a sophomore at Iowa Central with plans to major in elementary education and transfer to Iowa State University. Rachel is involved with theatre, working at Maurices, and selling Mary Kay cosmetics. She enjoys horseback riding and hanging with friends. Her stage experience includes high school individual and large group speeches and drama, with her favorite performances being Cheaper by the Dozen and The Truth in Being Ernest. Rachel has most enjoyed meeting new cast members during this production and wants everyone to know, “It’s a lot of fun and a great opportunity.” Rachel Litwiller, daughter of Merlin and Cindy Litwiller, is a sophomore at Iowa Central with plans to get her A.A. degree. Rachel is involved with Concert Choir and Encore Singers. She enjoys music, horseback riding, laughing, and hanging out with friends. Her stage experience includes being involved in the fall theatrical potpourri two years ago. Rachel has most enjoyed having the experience of being on stage during this production. Lindy Mikos, daughter of Bob and Amy Mikos, is a freshman at Iowa Central with plans to major in theatre and transfer to the University of Iowa. Lindy is involved with Concert Choir, Theatre, and Encore Singers. She enjoys acting and music. Her stage experience includes high school productions and speech contests, with her favorite performance being Guys and Dolls her senior year. Lindy has most enjoyed meeting all of the cast members and choreographing with Jessica during this production and wants everyone to know, “Annie and I now have permanent English accents and will forever be known as the Smelly Warthogs.” Jennifer Miner, daughter of Curt and Linda Miner, is a freshman at Iowa Central with plans to major in liberal arts and transfer to the University of Iowa. Jennifer is involved with Theatre, Concert Choir, and works at CSF in Clarion. She enjoys singing, acting, talking to friends, and listening to music. Her stage experience includes five high school plays in Clarion and two community plays at the Webster City Community Theatre. Jennifer has most enjoyed having a director who actually directs during this production. Jessica Nelson, daughter of Jackie Nelson, is a freshman at Iowa Central with plans to major in theatre and transfer to the University of Northern Iowa. Jessica is involved with Concert Choir and works at P.S. Academy Daycare. She enjoys dancing, writing, and reading. Her stage experience includes high school fall plays and musicals, with her favorite being Once Upon a Mattress. Jessica has most enjoyed working with Mrs. Jackson and all of her new friends during this production and wants everyone to know, “I will never forget everyone’s smiling faces and how quick everyone is to welcome people to the family - that’s what we are, a family.” Jamie Nielsen, daughter of Judi Nielsen and Paul Nielsen, is a sophomore at Iowa Central with plans to major in elementary education ABOUT THE CAST and transfer to the Buena Vista Fort Dodge Center. Jamie is involved with the Learn and Play Daycare, working at Hy-Vee, and her church youth group. Her stage experience includes Bye Bye Birdie, Guys and Dolls, Fiddler on the Roof, and Jesus Christ Superstar, with her favorite being Jesus Christ Superstar. Jamie has most enjoyed meeting new friends and working with Mrs. Jackson during this production. Carlos Orozco, son of Jim and Maggie Albrecht, is a freshman at Iowa Central with plans to major in general education and transfer to California State University. Carlos is involved with Theatre, Concert Choir, and Art. He enjoys skateboarding, Playstation, reading, and listening to music. His stage experience includes Wizard of Oz and Murder in the Magnolias, with his favorite performance being The Pajama Game. Carlos has most enjoyed working with the people during this production and wants everyone to know , “My name will be in the ending credits of a movie someday, one way or another.” Megan Paxson, daughter of Roxanne and Larry Paxson, is a sophomore plus at Iowa Central with plans to major in bionuclear engineering and transfer to M.I.T. in Boston - Fort Dodge Center. Megan is involved with her job at the almighty U.S. Cellular (600 min per month for $30.00...that sure is a great deal). She enjoys making dinner for her friends. Her stage experience includes Sure Thing, Fools, and Jesus Christ Superstar, with her favorite performance being Fools. Megan has most enjoyed working with her best friend in the whole wide world, Annie Wrenn...(I love you mama) during this production and wants everyone to know how thankful she is for her friends and family. Megan would also like to dedicate her performances to the memory of her cousin and friend, Corey Groat; you are deeply missed. Brad Riesgrof, son of Pam and Jeff Riesgrof, is a sophomore at Iowa Central with plans to major in art and transfer to Iowa State University. Brad is involved with Theatre, the Art Department, and working at Menard’s. He enjoys hiking, skiing, playing guitar, and painting. His stage experience includes several high school plays including, The Music Man and The Sound of Music, with his favorite performance being in the Barbershop quartet of The Music Man. Brad has most enjoyed going to a small school with one-on-one attention during this production and wants everyone to know, “I am from Minnesota, not Iowa!” John Schminke, son of Kevin and Sarah Schminke, is a sophomore at Iowa Central with plans to major in music and transfer to Berklee School of Music next fall. John is involved with Encore Singers, Jazz Band, and Concert Choir. He enjoys long walks on the beach and candle lit dinners with Andrea. His stage experience includes a state qualification his junior year in one-act play. John has most enjoyed working with really swell people during this production and wants everyone to know that he is German. Kyle Smith, son of Doug and Judy Smith, is a freshman at Iowa Central with plans to major in electrical maintenance. Kyle enjoys motorcross racing. His stage experience includes The Sound of Music, with his favorite performance being Oklahoma. Kyle has most enjoyed the experiences during this production. Rachel Vernan, daughter of Stephen Vernan and Miriam Watre Vernan, is a freshman at Iowa Central with plans to major in education and eventually transfer to the University of Northern Iowa. Rachel is involved with soccer, Encore Singers, Vocal Jazz, and drama. She enjoys hanging with her huge family in Galt, Iowa, her awesome friends, and her wonderful boyfriend. Her stage experience includes many one act plays, as well as major roles such as Annie in Annie Get Your Gun. Her favorite performance was playing Mary in I Am a Star, because there was an awesome fight scene in it. Rachel has most enjoyed the people and the learning experience during this production and want everyone to know that Iowa Central is awesome! Kimberly Vinsand, daughter of Randy and LeAnn Vinsand, is a sophomore at Iowa Central with plans to major in Theatre and English and become a high school drama and English teacher. Kimberly works at Hy-Vee and is a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She enjoys fishing, camping, reading, swimming, and hanging out with friends. Her stage experience includes Guys and Dolls, The Mouse that Roared, Bye Bye Birdie, and Fiddler on the Roof. Her favorite performance is Jesus Christ Superstar. Kimberly has most enjoyed meeting new and interesting people during this production and wants everyone to know she will never forget all of the fun she has had. Jessica Walstrom, daughter of Chris and Cheryl Walstrom, is a freshman at Iowa Central with plans to major in theatre and then transfer somewhere. Jessica is involved with Theatre, Concert Choir, and Encore Singers. She enjoys singing, acting, sleeping, and hanging out with her friends. Her stage experience includes Jesus Christ Superstar and various other high school productions. Her favorite performance is Jesus Christ Superstar. Jessica has most enjoyed getting to know all of the people in the cast during this production and wants everyone to know, “Some of the crazy dances in the productions were made up by myself and Lindy.” Molana Wilkinson, daughter of Dan and Cindy Wilkinson, is a freshman at Iowa Central with plans to major in elementary education and then transfer somewhere close to home. Molana is involved with drama, soccer, and Encore Singers. She enjoys sports, singing, and spending time with her friends and family. Molana has most enjoyed working with such fun people during this production and wants everyone to know how excited she is to be a part of the cast, and how much she is learning. Matt Winkel, son of Greg and Marilyn Winkel, is a sophomore at Iowa Central with plans to major in business and transfer to Buena Vista. Matt works at Applebee’s and enjoys music and movies. His stage experience includes Moments of Choice and Jesus Christ Superstar, with his favorite performance being Jesus Christ Superstar. Matt has most enjoyed the long hours of practicing during this production and wants everyone to know, “Frying bacon in the nude, not a good idea!” Annie Wrenn, daughter of Sheri and Jeff Wrenn, is a sophomore at Iowa Central with plans to transfer to the University of Northern Iowa. Annie is involved with Concert Choir, Encore Singers, Dance Line, and working at Younkers. She enjoys acting and playing with friends.
