developing his craft, inspired by and devoted to his wife
and two sons. He is motivated by and grateful for the
guidance and teachings of coach Rod Rowland, as well

MARK SVASTICS (Lighting Design/Set Design/
Technical Director)
th
This is the 17 play Mark and Stefan have collaborated
on – the last being Hello, for which Mark was nominated
for an Ovation Award for Lighting Design, Intimate
Theatre. He is pleased to be back designing at The
Stella Adler. He is a multifaceted designer of lights,
scenery, and sound. Recent lighting at the Co-Op
include 110 in the Shade (Ovation winner –
Outstanding Musical, Intimate Theater) and The Mystery
of Edwin Drood (Ovation-nominated, Outstanding
Musical, Intimate Theater). Mark teaches at CSUN and
Los Angeles Valley College. He would like to thank The
Stella Adler, Stefan, Stephen and Ron for this
collaboration – as well as his family for all their support.
STEPHEN EPSTEIN (Multimedia Designer/Tech Op.)
Stephen has spent his life working at the crossroads of
creativity and technology. As a musician and a
recording engineer, an actor and a theater tech, and as
a filmmaker, Stephen has sought out interesting,
creative, and technical challenges for more than 30
years. Over time, his unconventional skill set ultimately
led him to NASA, where he works as a multimedia
producer at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, bringing the
extraordinary stories of their missions to explore the
universe to the public. Stephen has collaborated with
Stefan previously on Sitcom the Play, The Singing
Skeleton, and Hello (six Ovation nominations). He is
thrilled to be able to contribute to Stefan's latest vision of
Space and dedicates his involvement to his beautiful
wife, Maureen, and his ridiculously awesome boys,
Benny and Jack.
RON WOOD (QLAB 3 Design/Technical Support/
Webmaster/Assistant Tech Op.)
Ron has been acting on stage since 1988. In that time,
he has been in many productions. Here are his
favorites: Crimes of the Heart, A Good Sleep Badly,
Next Week, Come Back Little Sheba, Houseguest, Last
Week, Scorpio Rising, Blue Rainbow Death, Poster of
the Cosmos, Baseball, The Good Year, and Hidden in
This Picture. This is the seventh play Ron and Stefan
have collaborated on, the last being The Good Year
right here in this very theater. When he’s not working in
theater, he is the Director of Information Technology for
a consumer electronics company in Camarillo and a
volunteer with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Mountain
Search and Rescue.
VICTORIA GOODMAN (Digital Artist)
Born in Los Angeles and currently residing in Austin,
Texas, Victoria is a digital artist, 3D content creator,
writer, professional photographer, and anthropologist.
Known as vyktohria in the artist community, she is
completely self-taught, and her interests in digital art
continue to grow. Motivated by an intrinsic desire to
contribute something beautiful and lasting to the world,
her favorite part of being a digital artist is traveling the
Texas ComiCon circuit, meeting fans, and selling her
art. She holds degrees in Creative Writing and
Anthropology and a Master’s Degree in Evolutionary
Ecology. Never setting limits on the boundaries of her
knowledge, she is always looking for new things to
learn. Victoria is thrilled to be a part of Stefan's project
and dedicates her contributions to the show to her angel
and muse, Bryan Headrick. You can check out her art
on her website, www.vyktohria.com.
PAULA HIGGINS (Costume Design)
Paula counts herself lucky to have been making a living
doing theatre for nearly 40 years. She teaches at
CSUN, where she most recently designed costumes for
Urinetown and Don Giovanni. In addition, she designs
costumes for LA Opera Education and Community
Engagement, including the annual Cathedral show, with
its cast of 100 leads and community members. Paula
also designs for the LA Gay and Lesbian Center, where
she designed costumes for the critically acclaimed
productions of The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia and The
Laramie Project: Ten Years Later. Paula is delighted to
work with Stefan Marks again, because he doesn't make
her want to throw things. Wigs provided by “Wigboys.”

...is named in honor of one of the world's foremost
acting teachers.
After a long and successful career in films and on
Broadway, including 10 years with the famous Group
Theatre, Adler began teaching her acting technique,
which is based on her personal work with Konstantin
Stanislavski – a technique that nurtures the imagination
of the actor.
Stella's teachings have been embraced by many of the
world's most notable actors, writers, and directors,
including Marlon Brando, Robert De Niro, Benicio Del
Toro, Melanie Griffith, Susan Clark, Harvey Keitel,
Richard Dreyfuss, Cybill Shepherd, John Ritter, Peter
Bogdanovich, Gary Ross, Mark Ruffalo, Holland Taylor,
and Ken Martin, to name only a few.
The Stella Adler Academy of Acting & Theatre Los
Angeles was founded in 1985 by Stella Adler, Joanne
Linville, and Irene Gilbert. Call us or visit us online at
