RIK SWARTZWELDER (Clay Walsh)
Rik Swartzwelder began acting in plays and short films while growing up in rural northeastern Ohio.
While a college student in central Florida—responding to a dare—Rik created Studio 13, a live sketch
comedy/improvisation show that ended up playing to exclusively sold-out audiences for the entire two and
a half years he was its primary writer, director and featured performer. Other stage credits include The
Shadow Box, The Foreigner and Love is Contagious.
Rik went on to earn his M.F.A. in Motion Picture Production from The Florida State University, where he
continued to act in short films and sketch comedy but began to focus more on writing and directing for
dramatic narrative film. As an actor, Rik makes his feature film debut in OLD FASHIONED. As a writerproducer-director, his previous work has screened at over 145 film festivals worldwide and won over 50
major awards.

ELIZABETH ANN ROBERTS (Amber Hewson)
Born in the small town of Salem, Va., Elizabeth Ann Roberts began acting as a child in local productions,
earned a B.A. in Theatre Arts at Virginia Tech and launched her professional career touring as Juliet with
Shenandoah Shakespeare Express' Romeo & Juliet. Various theatrical productions soon followed up and
down the east coast including Buried Child, Our Country’s Good and a stint with Philadelphia’s New
Paradise Laboratories.
Auditioning for director Gil Junger (Hot in Cleveland, 10 Things I Hate About You), Roberts booked her
first screen role in the film BLACK KNIGHT. Other film roles include the Rich Mullins’ biopic
RAGAMUFFIN and REMEMBER THE DAZE. Her credits also include hit TV series such as Southland,
Criminal Minds, Bones, Heroes, House, Days of Our Lives and Medium.
TYLER HOLLINGER (Brad/“Lucky Chucky”)
Tyler Hollinger is an award-winning actor on both stage and screen who is often recognized for his work
on four seasons of the hit ABC hidden-camera show What Would You Do? and Taxi Brooklyn (NBC).
Hollinger’s film credits include BLACK DOG, RED DOG (James Franco), LEAVES OF THE TREE (Eric
Roberts) and Witches of OZ (Christopher Lloyd) among many others. Television credits include How to
Make It in America, Dateline NBC, All My Children and many more.
Tyler is the executive producer and co-creator of Trust Me, I'm a Lifeguard. He has received two IRNE
awards and a Mustache Award for Best Actor. He currently resides in New York City where he is the
Artistic Director of The New York Actors School.
ANNE MARIE NESTOR (Kelly)
Anne Marie Nestor is a film, television and stage actress. She is known for her starring role as Sarah in
the feature film TURBINE and as Sharon Donley in the short THE LOUDER THE BETTER. Her television
credits include NBC’s One Life to Live, IFC’s The Onion News Network and FOX’s animated series
Magical DoReMi. Anne Marie grew up in Princeton, N.J., and attended Vassar College. She trained in
New York City with The Barrow Group, Bob Krakower and The Upright Citizen’s Brigade. She currently
resides in Los Angeles where she studied at the Ivana Chubbuck Studio.
DOROTHY SILVER (Aunt Zella)
Award-winning Cleveland-based actress Dorothy Silver has an impressive resume of theatre and film
credits. She played lead roles in such plays as Wings, Master Class, Mrs. Warren’s Profession and Death
of a Salesman among many others. Films include work with James Whitmore and Richard Gere and roles
such as in THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION and LOVE AND OTHER DRUGS. As a director, Silver’s
credits include American Place Theatre in New York as well as assignments at Cleveland’s regional
companies, the Cleveland Playhouse and Great Lakes Theatre Festival. For 21 years, Silver served as
resident director at Cleveland’s bi-racial Karamu Theatre along with her husband, and frequent acting
partner, Reuben, who served as artistic director.
JOSEPH BONAMICO (George)
Joseph Bonamico launched his 30-year acting career on stage in The Second Sheppard’s Play directed
by Bob Liberatore. Other theatrical work includes featured roles in Trumpet in the Land, The White
Savage, A View From The Bridge, Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, The Rainmaker, Assassins and many more.
Bonamico’s film and television credits include TV movies Bet Your Life with Billy Zane and The Light of
Day starring Michael J. Fox. TV series include Miami Vice and Unsolved Mysteries. Bonamico has acted
in commercials with Ben Stein, Bernie Mac, Lebron James and Shaquille O'Neal. A writer and director as
well, he wrote the screenplay and stage versions of The White Savage.
LEJON WOODS (David)
LeJon Woods began acting in high school with a role in a public service video. After graduating college he
auditioned for a student film at Cleveland State University and launched his career, including local film,
commercial and theater roles in his hometown of Cleveland. Film credits include HOMEMAKERS,
FALLING BACKWARDS and TOMORROW YOU’RE GONE.
LINDSAY HEATH (Trish)
Lindsay Heath is a Los Angeles-based actress active in all things Hollywood—including television, film,
commercial and print work. Among her credits are ad campaigns for Lens Crafters, Ray Ban and Sony.
She appeared in ABC Family’s Switched at Birth and Revenge on ABC. Additionally, she is pursuing her
own writing projects and acting in short films and student projects.
MARYANN NAGEL (Carol)
Maryann Nagel works across the country on stage, film, TV and radio. She was recently seen in TAKE
SHELTER with Michael Shannon and Jessica Chastain. With a B.A. in theatre from Webster University,
Nagel has worked with Adam Arkin, George Clooney, William H. Macy, Hal Holbrook, Sir Lawrence
Olivier and Patricia Clarkson among many others. Among her many acting credits are TV: Scottish Reign,
General Hospital and One Life to Live; film: GRADUATION, A CHRISTMAS STORY and WELCOME TO
COLLINWOOD; and theater: Nine, Into the Woods, Most Happy Fella and more than two years in
Menopause the Musical in Cleveland, Toronto and Portland. Additionally, Nagel directs theater locally and
nationally.
NINI HADJIS (Lisa)
Nini Hadjis earned a B.A. in Theatre in acting and stage managing at SUNY Albany and her M.F.A. in
Film at The American University in Washington, D.C. An actor and producer, Hadjis has worked for the
Discovery Channel and was a co-producer of the award-winning short film THE LEAST OF THESE.
Moving to Los Angeles, she studied improvisation at Second City and scene study with Jack Hannibal
and spent a year studying the Meisner technique before heading to the Midwest to produce and act in
OLD FASHIONED. Hadjis has worked at Lionsgate, Fox Studios in L.A. and with the Lake Placid Film
Forum in New York. Now based in New York, Hadjis acts and is developing TV and film projects.
ANGE’LE PEREZ (Cosie)
OLD FASHIONED marks Ange'le Perez’s first feature film. It follows more than a year of acting study with
the Players Guild’s Kinderdrama, where she also had performance opportunities.
