Didion Milling is a family owned agricultural processing business located in the heartland of Wisconsin. JOB TITLE: Marketing Intern COMPANY: Didion Milling LOCATION: Johnson Creek, WI REPORTS TO: Marketing Coordinators POSITION SUMMARY: Learn about all aspects of marketing communications and public relations as a part of a small, hands-on marketing department. The intern will gain a comprehensive understanding of the food, feed and fuel industries from a family-owned company that has a passion for corn. This is a full-time, paid summer internship, but candidates are encouraged to begin work part time during the spring semester. RESPONSIBILITIES: This internship will provide opportunities in the following areas of marketing: • • • • • Public relations and media relations Trade show planning Advertising Social media Internal marketing • • • • E-mail marketing Market research Sales support Intern project - designed using the intern’s learning objectives REQUIREMENTS: To qualify for this position, an individual must possess any combination of experience and education that would likely produce the desired job outcomes. Specific requirements include: • • • • • • • • • • Pursuing a B.A. or B.S. in marketing, communications or related field Agricultural and/or food science experience preferred Outstanding writing and communication skills Positive and self-motivated Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment Eager to learn about grain procurement, corn milling and then ethanol industry Flexibility to work in Johnson Creek, Cambria or remotely Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects at once MS Office computer skills Graphic design experience is advantageous To apply or ask questions, contact Sami Benz, Marketing Coordinator [email protected] 920.348.6897
