GREENCAB STAFF...ANOTHER GREEN LADY JOINS THE
TEAM!
It is with a sense of loss that GreenCab bids farewell to Melroy Maggott in our
Operations Department. He will be sorely missed and we wish him well in his
future endeavours.
The latest addition to the GreenCab team and face behind the friendly voice
answering our phone, is Nomzamo Nibe. Zama is studying towards a BCOMM
in Business Management & Economics Degree, so our clients can look forward
to even more efficient scheduling and invoicing in the future!
She has a passion for poetry and walked away with the Debating Champ laurels
at the University of Port Elizabeth. Welcome Zama!

Tired of struggling to find parking in walking distance from the Kirstenbosch
Summer Sunset Concerts?! GreenCab has the pleasure of partnering with Old

Shopping Centre. This in an effort of the sponsor (Old Mutual) and the iconic
garden to improve access to the concerts and at the same time lower the
carbon footprint of the series.
Old Mutual & Cavendish also offer an exciting the Green Carpet VIP
Experience Competition whereby the lucky winner and 5 of their friends win

COP 17 Climate Change Response Exhibition
Maria Ramos gets introduced to the GreenCab "climate change buck" by
GreenCab Marketing Director, Amiene van der Merwe.
GreenCab exhibited on the National Business Initiative’s podium at this
prestigious international conference on climate change that gave the company a
most valuable opportunity to continue to lead the green drive toward sustainable
mobility as its response to the ecological credit crunch.
It also provided transfer services in 13 Climate Change Mitigation Cabs in

GreenCab Managing Director, Lynn Maggott, is featured as an Eco
Entrepreneur in the March 2012 edition of the Oprah Magazine. The article is
part of Oprah's "4-Step Self Awareness Workbook" about engaging in the
business of who you are meant to be and how this leads to being "more awake,
alive and ready to play a vital part in the workings of your world". Something
that the Green Ladies at GreenCab are no strangers to.

GreenCab had the honour of being short-listed as one of the Finalists in the
Transport Category for the inaugural Eco-Logic Awards. The Award is designed
to empower and assist consumers to participate in protecting the Planet. The
first Awards event was impressive and inspirational and set high standards in
terms of eco-logical ethics, innovation and integrity that will serve as challenging
benchmarks for the 2012 Awards.

GREENCAB SEQUESTRATION EVENTS
GreenCab sequestrates all its transport emissions on behalf of its clients on a
bi-annual basis. The associated Sequestration Event serves as an opportunity
to award our growing pool of loyal clients with 6-monthly Green Transport
Certificates. The Certificates certify, in conjunction with the SA Carbon Protocol,
that the service is carbon-neutral. Events are both informative and entertaining
as this picture illustrates where GreenCab staff joins one of the speakers and
the stand-up comedienne, Mark Sampson, in his Eco-Waster hand signal to
show to drivers of large fuel guzzling vehicles. Current events
