You can access your district folder (home directory), as well as programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, etc., from home using a connection to the Internet. Access to Citrix for PC (see page 2 for Mac) Enter the following URL in the address bar (save as a bookmark for future reference): https://citrix.3villagecsd.k12.ny.us This is a different address than the one provided previously. Please update this address if you have the old one. (Note: You will need the most up-to-date client, called Receiver. If Citrix does not load automatically, see the Problems section at the top of page 2.) 1. Enter your username, password, and domain. o Your domain will most likely be ACADEMIC o Remember, passwords are case sensitive. Click the LOG On button with the mouse academic\jsmith Once you have logged in you will see a + sign on the left side of the screen. Click on the + and then “All Apps” to view software programs available to you. Locate the “My Home Directory” alphabetically in order to use files you have saved. Click on the programs you want to use and they will appear on the desktop. Right clicking on the desktop icons will allow you to remove them – back to the left menu bar. Problems? If the client fails to load you may need to install the client from the Citrix website. Go to http://www.citrix.com/downloads/citrix-receiver/legacy-client-software/online-plug-in-123.html download the latest Citrix Online Plug-in - WEB ***You may also need to remove or uninstall older versions of Citrix.
