Dimer Aggregates: Less than 1% as determined by silver-stained SDS-PAGE gel analysis.
Physical Appearance: Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Eledoisin in sterile 18M-cm H2O not less than
100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Purity/Purification: Greater than 98.0% as determined by:
(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.
(b) Anion-exchange FPLC.
(c) Analysis by reducing and non-reducing SDS-PAGE Silver Stained gel.
Stability: Lyophilized Eledoisin although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated
below -18 C. Upon reconstitution Eledoisin should be stored at 4 C between 2-7 days and for future use below 18 C.
For long term storage it is recommend
Shipping: Products may be shipped on ice pack or dry ice.

ELEDOISIN PEPTIDE TARGET DESCRIPTION:
Synonym Names for Eledoisin peptide: N/A; Eledoisin; N/A; Eledoisin
A protein that is formed in the venom gland of several species of octopuses and is used as a vasodilator and a
contraction agent of extravascular smooth muscle Its molecular weight is 1188.4 having an amino acid sequence
of Glp-Pro-Ser-Lys-Asp-Ala-Phe-Ile-Gly-Leu-Met-NH2 and a molecular formula of C54H85N13O15S.
Function: Tachykinins are active peptides which excite neurons, evoke behavioral responses, are potent
vasodilators and secretagogues, and contract (directly or indirectly) many smooth muscles.
Subcellular Location: Secreted.
Similarity: Belongs to the tachykinin family.
Order Confirmation: Sales order confirmations are sent out upon the receipt of all orders. Please contact
GenWay if you do not receive a confirmation within 1 business day of submitting your order.
Precautions: Eledoisin peptide is for in vitro research use only. Not for use in diagnostics or therapeutic
procedures.
Important Notes: During shipment, small volumes of Eledoisin peptide vial. For products with volumes of 200
µL or less, we recommend gently tapping the vial on a hard surface or briefly centrifuging the vial in a tabletop
centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container’s cap. Actual concentration, volume and quantity will be printed
on the vial's label. Please refer to the vials label for this information.
