Bio‐identical
Hormones
are
derived

Initially
there
is

hormone

test
("hormone
panel")
to
determine

When
results

back,
a
compounding
pharmacist
prepares
a
precise
dosage
of

estrogens,
progesterone,
testosterone,
and/or
DHEA.
This
is
dependent
on
the
quantity
of
hormone
depletion.
Each
patient
is
then
monitored
carefully
through
regular
follow‐up
hormone
panels
to
ensure
she
gets
symptom
relief
at
the
lowest
possible
dosage.
In
the
initial
stages,
hormone
panels
are
taken
every
three
months.
Once
balance
is
restored,
one
panel
is
done
yearly.

There

both
but
that
