Ducky doesn’t get much bigger than this! Press and hold your switch and Big Rubber Ducky lights up and plays a fun, lighthearted tune that includes quacking noises. Ducky can also be activated by pressing the large bright red button on his back. The bright red button on his back can also be used to activate another toy/device Great for teaching cause and effect and the red button encourages reaching out. Size: 10"L x 8"W x 11"H. Requires 4 C Batteries. Weight: 2½ lbs. Operation: 1. The Big Rubber Ducky requires 4 C batteries (Not included). Use alkaline batteries only (e.g. Duracell or Energizer brand). Do not use rechargeable batteries or any other type of batteries because they supply lower voltage and the unit will not perform properly. Never mix old and new batteries together or different brands or types together. 2. The battery compartments are located on the bottom of the unit. To remove the battery compartment covers, unscrew the small Phillips Head screw on each of the black battery cases, and then slide the covers off. Install new batteries, being careful to observe proper (+) & (-) battery polarity. Replace covers and screws. Turn the On/Off/Volume knob clockwise to turn the unit On. Please Note: Big Rubber Ducky is not made for bath play or to be submerged in water. Doing so will damage the toy and void the warranty. Troubleshooting: Problem: Big Rubber Ducky does not work. Action #1: Make sure the On/Off/Volume is turned ON and the Volume is set to an auditable level. Action #2: Check all batteries for proper (+) & (-) battery polarity. Action #3: Check to make sure noting is blocking or restricting the movement of the activation switch. Action #4: Replace any dead or weak batteries with fresh new batteries. Never mix different brands or old and new batteries. Care of Unit: Big Rubber Ducky can be wiped clean with any household multipurpose cleaner and disinfectant. We recommend Simple Green, which is a non toxic biodegradable all-purpose cleaner. 3. Plug any capability switch into the jack on the duck’s base labeled ‘’Switch’’. Make sure you plug your switch all the way in. There should be no gaps. Press and hold your switch and Big Rubber Ducky lights up and plays a fun, lighthearted tune that includes quacking noises. Ducky can also be activated by pressing the large bright red button on his back. When finished playing with Big Rubber Ducky turn the On/Off/Volume knob to Off to help prevent battery drain. For prolonged storage we recommend removing the batteries. 4. The bright red button on his back can also be used to activate another toy/device, to do this plug one end of the included 1/8 inch to 1/8 inch cord into the jack labeled ‘’Device’’ on the duck’s base. Plug the other end of the cord into your device. Make sure it is plugged in all the way there should be no gaps. Great for teaching cause and effect and the red button encourages reaching out. Do not use abrasive cleaners, as they will scratch the surface of the unit. Do not submerge the unit, as it will damage the contents and the electrical components. Rev 8/25/15
