TWINSONIC
OVERDRIVE / BOOST
USER MANUAL
OVERDRIVE SECTION (ROCK!)
GAIN
controls the intensity of distortion. Set it to the desired level of distortion and roll back the guitar
volume for cleaner tones.
TONE
affects the mids. Turn it to the left for more lower mids and a fatter, softer tone or to the right for
a punchy “in your face” sound with pronounced upper mids.
CUT
rolls off treble when turned clockwise (like in the old VOX amps)
LEVEL
the master volume...
CLEAN BOOST SECTION (MORE!)
PUSH
boost the clean guitar signal up to 20 dB. Use it alone in front of your amp or to add distortion and
sustain to the TwinSonicʼs overdrive sound. The boost is located BEFORE the overdrive in the
signal chain.
MORE
works like a booster AFTER the overdrive, increasing the volume of the overdrive sound.
Along with the PUSH control you can dial in more distortion and/or more volume for your solos.
This control is only active when both overdrive and boost are switched on.
INTERNAL TRIMPOT
The internal trimpot is a tone control for the clean boost, it rolls off treble when turned counterclockwise.
HEADROOM SWITCH
activates an internal voltage doubling circuit.
LO: for a softer tone and more compression, good for pickups with low output and playing at
bedroom level
HI: louder, less compressed, more dynamic and punchy sound with tighter bass – better suited
for more powerful pickups, in front of an already distorting amp and for playing on stage volume
POWER
The TwinSonic can be run on a 9v battery or a power supply.
The power supply has to be a regulated 9VDC adapter with the 2.1 mm „barrel plug” and negative
center pin (standard for the very most pedals of Boss, Ibanez, Fulltone and many other pedals).
The headroom switch activates an internal circuit that electronically doubles the supplied voltage
(i. e. 18 volts from a 9 volts battery or power supply).
DO NOT SUPPLY MORE THAN 9 VOLTS OR WRONG POLARITY, you may damage the pedal.
DO NOT SUPPLY AC, you will definitely damage the pedal.
