The pungent somewhat camphoraceous odour of Rosemary reflects its therapeutic properties - it is a tonic and stimulant. It is traditionally employed in Hair Lotions. Because of its revitalising, stimulating action, Rosemary is used in many Weleda products. It is used either as a tincture or an essential oil. Rosemary tincture is prepared from the dried leaves, whilst Rosemary essential oil is steam distilled from the whole flowering plant. CLOVER (TRIFOLIUM PRATENSE) Commonly referred to as Clover, this flower has traditionally been used to prevent hair loss. When used it hair care, it is also known to improve the hair’s strength and elasticity. . PEANUT (ARACHIS HYPOGAEA) This light yellow-colored oil is pressed from the shelled and skinned seeds of the Peanut. It is extremely stable, with nourishing and protective properties. * Through Weleda’s refinement process, which involves the filteration and vacumn heating of the oil at a temperature of 450 degrees Farenheit, the allergen - the allergy-causing protein in Peanut Oil - is eliminated.
