Helleborus argutifolius has glossy, toothed, tri-foliate, silver-green leaves. Pale, pendant
chartreuse colored flowers appear winter to early spring.
It thrives in a moist, well-drained humus-rich soil, and is drought tolerant once established.
Prune old leaves in spring after new shoots appear. If desired, fertilize in spring with a wellbalanced fertilizer and mulch annually in the fall with compost.
The blooms of Corsican Hellebore will brighten winter gardens.
