VIBURNUM Viburnum is a large genus of deciduous and broadleaf evergreen shrubs. One can be found to suit almost any purpose in your garden. Some produce wonderfully fragrant blossoms while others display showy flowers followed by attractive fruits and colorful fall foliage. Plant viburnum in full sun for best growth, although most will tolerate some shade. Rich, moist, well-drained soil is preferred. Plant near a window or walkway to enjoy the fragrance. Shiny leaves turn scarlet in fall. White flowers in spring followed by fruit clusters changing from white to pink to blue. The fall combo is incredible. Best in a sheltered location and acidic soil.
