Viburnum odoratissimum 'Awabuki' Sweet Viburnum This is a stout tree best known for it's beautiful fragrant flowers that are white and fragrant. That are borne in panicles in Spring and Summer. Berries are red turning to black. It has large glossy bright green leaves that are oval in shape. Fast growing species that can form a rounded shrub or small tree. Family Common Name Mature Size (h x w) Form Categories Uses Caprifoliaceae Sweet Viburnum 3-4 x 2m Shrub-like Evergreen, Formal Screening, Hedging Can be used as a nice hedge line. Also great feature for smaller gardens. Position & Soil Prefers moist well drained soils in full sun to part shade. One of the few viburnums that thrive in warm to hot climates.
