Camellias
‘Autumn Pink Icicle’ Camellia oleifera -5’-6’ Large, double, peony-like blooms are rose-pink.
This is an extremely cold hardy variety with an upright habit.
‘Black Magic’ Camellia japonica - 10’ Very dark glossy rose-form red blooms that look like they
were dipped in high-gloss polyurethane! Leaves are shiny and holly-like with an upright habit.
Bloom time is late winter and it displays superior cold hardiness.
‘Bonanza’ Camellia sasanqua – 4’-5’ Rosy red blooms with a peony form arrive in early fall and
weather permitting will bloom throughout the winter. Foliage is a glossy dark green and the
plant has a spreading habit. It displays excellent cold hardiness.

‘Dr. Tinsley’ Camellia japonica – 10’-15’ This variety is more like a wild rose than a camellia.
The semi-double blooms are soft pink with deeper shaded edges. Bloom time is in late winter
and it features an upright, compact habit. It displays excellent cold hardiness.
‘Edna Campbell Variegated’ Camellia japonica – 8’-10’ Striking selection with very large semidouble to peony form blooms that are a deep red mottled with white. It has a compact,
rounded habit and blooms in mid winter and has superior cold hardiness.
‘Egao Shibori’ Camellia sasanqua (vernalis) – 8’-10’ Dark green leaves are mottled with gold
throughout. Exceptional flowers are large, semi-double, and heavy-textured. The bloom color
is an unusual coral-peach-pink that is marbled in white to various degrees. It is a vigorous

‘Ice Follies’ Camellia williamsi x oleifera – 6’-8’ Bred for its superior cold hardiness this variety
has large, semi-double, shocking pink blooms that arrive in early spring. The leaves are a
lustrous dark green.

‘Rose of Autumn’ Camellia sasanqua – 6’-8’ Large, many-petaled, semi-double flowers are a
warm rose color with a wavy edge. A sheen upon the blooms seems to give a glow to the
flowers at dusk. It is a vigorous grower with an upright habit and is very cold hardy.
‘Royal Velvet’ Camellia japonica – 5’-6’ The semi-double blooms are velvety dark red with

‘Survivor’ Camellia x oleifera – 6’-8’ Single snow white blooms arrive in abundance in late
autumn to early winter. This variety has withstood temperatures below zero and has bloomed
at 17 degrees. It is an upright grower with glossy green leaves.
‘Taylor’s Perfection’ Camellia x ‘Taylor’s Perfection’ – 6’-8’ Glowing pink blooms are large and
