Alocasia x Amazonica Polly (Elephant Ears)
Description:
A spectacular plant with large, striking leaves that are a deep dark purple
to black in colour and have prominent, bright white veins. Throughout the
year, yellow spathe flowers appear and are often followed by ornamental
red berries.
Planting Position:
Prefers a bright position indoors with indirect sunlight. Plant in a shaded,
warm and humid position within the garden. Keep moist but not overwater.

Plant Size (approx):
60cm high x 40cm wide
Planting:
Dig a hole approximately twice the size of the container. Remove plant
and place into the hole so the soil level is the same as the surrounding
ground. Fill in the hole and push down firmly and water in thoroughly.
Fertilizing & Watering:
Fertilize in spring with a slow release fertilizer and water to keep moist in a
pot situation.
