101.9 KINK PRESENTS PORTLAND FARMERS MARKET
THIS SUMMER AT PIONEER COURTHOUSE SQUARE!
PORTLAND, OR – (June 10, 2013) 101.9 Kink will bring Portland Farmers Market back to the Square this
summer for a total of 15 market days complete with hot food vendors, fresh produce, and live music. The
Portland Farmers Market is ‘bringing the best of the country to the heart of the city’ on Mondays to
Portland’s Living Room!
From June 17th through September 30th, shoppers can grab fresh produce and lunch while
listening to a variety of live market music. More than 30 farmers and food artisans will invade
Portland’s Living Room from 10:00AM - 2:00PM selling the freshest summer fruits, vegetables,
flowers and hot food items. Visitors to the market are invited to plan their shopping route by
viewing Portland Farmers Market’s interactive map to the market, which provides the on-site
location for each of this year’s vendors. Be sure to stop by the 101.9 Kink tent to grab a free Kink
CD and other freebees.
In addition to the weekly market, Portland Farmers Market’s new Produce Pedaler will be at the
Square on Mondays and Wednesdays this summer. This old fashioned Dutch cargo bike will be
stocked with peak-of-the-season fruits, vegetables and other market goodies from farmers and
food artisans. Jaret Foster, Operations Director of Portland Farmers Market notes “the Produce
Pedaler not only creates another sales opportunity for our vendors, it’s also the perfect way to
bring together Portland’s celebrated bike culture and regional bounty in a fun and memorable
