The Electra Palace Hotel is a five star property under the
shadow of the Acropolis, in the picturesque quarter of Plaka,
just 3 minutes walk from Syntagma Square, the Parliament and
the business and commercial district. Recently, the Athens
Electra Palace Hotel has been completely re-constructed,
refurbished and expanded and now operates with the most
contemporary equipment of the 21st century. The building’s
façade has changed completely to a neo-classical style
impressively lighted at night. Together with the hotel’s
exclusive interior style with its wooden and antique furniture, a unique feeling of class and luxury is
created.
The Athens Electra Palace Hotel in Plaka now operates with 131
guestrooms, nine junior suites and 10 suites. The decoration of all
our guestrooms is classic, in order to match with the classical
façade of the hotel and the character of the ancient district of
Plaka. All rooms have electronic lock, air-conditioning, mini-bar,
sound proof windows, electronic safe box (lap top size), direct dial
phone in the bedroom and in the bathroom, “WI-FI’ internet
connection, satellite TV with “pay-movie” system, night light,
emergency light connected to a power generator, magnifying mirror in the bathroom, hair dryer,
bathrobes, slippers, and smoke detector. The superior rooms have balconies with Acropolis view
while the suites have Jacuzzi bathtubs and separate showers. Finally, the hotel has three nonsmoking floors.
The Athens Electra Palace Hotel offers a relaxing fitness area. The
space includes an indoor heated swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, a gym, a
sauna, a steam bath and a massage room. Different massage
programs are available from our experienced staff. Additionally, the
hotel offers a new modern underground garage with approximately
120 parking spaces, 24-hour room service, laundry service on both a
regular and express basis, and secretarial service during office
hours.
The “MOTIVO” restaurant operates on the lobby level. Our American buffet breakfast is an ideal
choice to start the day. An extensive and innovative selection of Mediterranean cuisine from our “a
la carte” menu is awaiting our guests to enjoy their lunch or dinner, with a magnificent view to our
garden. The traditional “DUCK-TAIL” bar-cafe is located near to the lobby lounge, offering a wide
variety of drinks, coffees and light snacks.
