The EconoLodge opened in June 1990 and affiliated with Choice Hotels in May 1996. It is a twostory, interior corridor, limited-service hotel, with 30 guestrooms, lobby/breakfast area, vending,

sliding glass doors to an outside patio, and the second floor guestrooms have balconies. All hotel

Comments:
The hotel is in very good condition and has good Quality Assurance inspection scores from
Choice Hotels. The STAR Report shows the hotel is performing very well but has room to
increase occupancy against its competitive set. The hotel is a great opportunity for an owner
operator with living quarters on-site.
Attractions:
This hotel is located between Lake Mitchell and Lake Cadillac on M-115 near the M-55 junction and
a few miles north of the US-131 junction. The downtown business district and many other demand
generators are within a few miles. It’s location provides easy access to many area attractions and area
businesses like; Mitchell State Park, Cadillac Country Club, Caberfae Peaks Ski/Golf, McGuire’s
Golf Club and other golf courses, Baker College of Cadillac, Cadillac Mercy Hospital, Cadillac
Rubber & Plastic, Four Winns Boats, and The Wexford County Airport. Many dining options are
nearby the hotel as well as retail shopping and other attractions and recreational activities.
