Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Greg Kinnear and Emma Roberts will star in the psychological thriller
“Spinning Man.”
The project — set to begin production next month in Minnesota — will mark the American debut
of Danish filmmaker Peter Flinth, who will direct from a script by Matthew Aldrich based on
George Harrar’s novel. Keith Arnold will produce along with Ellen Wander.
“Game of Thrones” star Coster-Waldau will play a philosophy professor who becomes the prime
suspect in the disappearance of a high school cheerleader. Kinnear will portray the detective
assigned to the investigation and Roberts, who stars in “Scream Queens,” will play the
professor’s prized student.
“Spinning Man was a script I couldn’t put down,” Arnold said. “That we’re preparing to make it
with Peter, Nikolaj, Greg and Emma is an opportunity of a lifetime.”
Wander’s Film Bridge International is representing the project in Cannes, with many territories
already off the board.
Coster-Waldau recently wrapped the drama “Shot Caller.” Kinnear will next be seen starring in
Ira Sachs’ “Little Men” and is in post production on his directorial debut, “Phil.” Roberts recently
wrapped the indie film “Billionaires Boys Club.”
Coster-Waldau and Kinnear are repped at WME while Flinth is at ICM Partners. Roberts is at
CAA and Sweeney Entertainment. Aldrich is repped by WME and Silent R Management. Harrar
is with Zachary Shuster Harmsworth.
Elsa Ramo and Ericka Canchola of Ramo Law are representing the producers.
