 Welcome and Introductions
o Had everyone attending introduce them self and where they were from
and what they did in the office
 Professional Essilor – Ken Allmer and Clark Denison
o Went over the Power of 3 program, need to register by April 1st
 Will send attachment with information about it.
o Went over the Essilor Transitions.com program
 Will send attachment with information about it.
o Optical Dream- see attachment with more information.
o Progressive Lens Quick Guide – will email a copy of it.
 New Programs – The Optical Dream
 Need to register for it. Dr. needs to sign up everyone and then
all staff needs to register.
 Will help the office increase their profits in the optical and
improve management
 First quarter Essilor, Second quarter Alcon, Third quarter Safilo
 Will help teach us to increase profitable lens choice, billing,
selling points for frames and multiple pair sales, marketing year
supplies and color contacts.
 3 office signed up and 2 more that are going to sign up, so far
o Optisource – New annual Rebate Program- See attachement
 Professional Development Strategies –
 Meaningfull use – Portal
 Three offices are having people sign onto there portal,
they do offer an award if people do sign up.
o They will send samples of what they do in there
office.
 Roundtable:
o ICD-10 – Gillette office has started studying of this, they are using the
Vision Source CD. We would like to have some training at each
webinar and the live meetings. Also in the Gazette there is a sample
question.
o Officemate/Examwriter – some discussion on if they will be ready for
the ICD-10\
o Be thinking of things we want to go over this year.
o We are going to meet in Casper in May, and in Jackson in July.
 Wrap Up:
o Look into carrying Nordic Naturals in your office.
o At next Webinar bring one thing that you started last year and really
works well in your office.
 Next meeting will be around April 10th. Will send information as soon as
Vendor has been finalized.
