Opposite Angle Theorem
(OAT)
When two lines intersect,
angles opposite one another are
equal.
Angle Sum of a Triangle
Theorem (ASTT)
The angles in a triangle add to
180°. (Also, if the triangle is
equilateral, then each angle is
60°).
Isosceles Triangle Theorem
(ITT)
In an isosceles triangle, the
angles opposite the equal sides
are also equal.
Exterior Angle Theorem
An exterior angle is equal to the
sum of the opposite interior
angles.
Transversal Parallel Lines
Theorem Alternate Angles
(TPT Z pattern)
The alternate angles (formed
by a Z pattern when a
transversal intersects two
parallel lines) are equal.
Transversal Parallel Lines
Theorem Corresponding
Angles (TPT F pattern)
The corresponding angles
(formed by a F pattern when a
transversal intersects two
parallel lines) are equal.

Theorem Interior Angles
(TPT C pattern)
—
—
The interior angles (formed by
a C pattern when a transversal
intersects two parallel lines)
add to 180°.
