AMERICA
• 1. I am the longest mountain system in the world
• 2. I am the second highest mountain system in the
world.
• 3. I was formed by movements of tectonic plates.
• 4. I am a part of the Ring of Fire where earthquakes
and volcanic eruptions take place.
• 5. I am home to alpacas and chinchillas.

• 1. I am not as high as a mountain but I am higher
than a plateau.
• 2. I cover half of Venezuela.
• 3. My highest point is Mount Roraima.
• 4. My land is sometimes called “tablelands”
because my sandstone plateaus drop-off and form
steep cliffs that look like tables.
• 5. These tablelands are called “house of the gods”
by the local people.

• 1. I am southeast of the Guiana Highlands
• 2. Sugar Loaf Peak is a famous feature of the
highlands.

6. You will find some of the more dangerous animals of the
Amazon live here: caiman, jaguar, and anaconda.

• 2. I am considered a desert because I get very little
rainfall due to my location between the Andes
Mountains and the Pacific Ocean.

• 4. There are salty lakes and here you will find flocks
of flamingos.
