Done Projects on Pthreads and OpneMP. Done course work for CCNA Proficient in Java, C, C++, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, PHP, XML, SQL. Educational Qualification Master of Science (MS) in Computer Sciences at Florida State University, Florida (Expected Graduation – December 2010). GPA- 3.63/4.0 Bachelor of Engineering (BE) from Shri Vaishnav Institute of Technology and Science, India (2004 - 2008). Aggregate - 78.63% Related Course-work Database Systems Advanced Parallel & Distributed Systems Advanced Algorithms Data and Computer Communication Distributed Web App. Development Principle of Operating System Network Security Data Structures Selected Project Experience Distributed Web Application Development Developed a Query Application for the database. (Java, SQL, Spring-2009. FSU) Used the JDBC package to interact with the Database. User could select from the default Queries or add their own queries. User could save their queries for later use. The Java Swing Class was used to create the GUI for the Application. Developed an Online Polling Website (Java, HTML, CSS, Spring-2009. FSU) Used Cookies to prevent users from voting more than once. Used Servlet for respond and for HTTP requests. Used JDBC to connect to the Database. Developed a Commercial online Real Estate Listing Service. (Java, HTML, CSS, SQL, Spring-2009. FSU) Used Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) for deploying the application. Used Java Servlet and JavaServer Pages technology to make the three-tier client-server Distributed Web Application. The users could post as well as browse the Properties on the Website. Created XML from a Servlet to store the elements. Used XSL transformations to convert the XML into a XHTML document for users to view different Real Estates. Database Systems Implemented the HeapPage for the disk Manager in the DBMS. (C, C++, Spring-2010. FSU ) Developed the efficient Mechanism to store the record. Developed modules to insert, delete and traverse the record efficiently. Implemented the Buffer Manager Layer for the DBMS. (C, C++, Spring-2010. FSU ) Developed an efficient way for the Higher Level programs to allocated and deallocate pages on the disk. Developed various Data Structures such as hash table, queue and stack to efficiently handle the pages. Parallel and Distributed Systems Developed Sparse Matrix Multiplication Sequentially and in Parallel. (C, Fall-2009. FSU ) Used Pthreads and OpenMP to do the Sparse Matrix Multiplication. Developed Stable Matching Problem in Parallel. (C, Fall-2009. FSU ) Used Pthreads to do the Matching in Parallel. Given a two large set with their preference the program could find a stable match. Algorithm Design & Analysis Developed GUI for calculating approximate solution of the 1- center computation. (C++ , HTML , PHP , Fall-2009. FSU ) Create a website using HTML which showed the Maps from which one can choose nodes. Used PHP for communication the points with the server. Used Boost Graph Library (BGL). Parsed the OSM file to create the Graph. Found the Shortest path using the Dijkstra’s Single Source Shortest Path Algorithm. The C++ code computed the approximate center which was returned to the website. The user could view the points selected by him and the Approximate Center. Operating System Developed a file system management program. (C, Spring-2009. FSU ) The File system management could manipulate files in the FAT32 file system. Used the USB flash Drive formatted with FAT32 to run and test the file management program on Linux. Data Communication Developed client server architecture for file sharing among users. (C, Fall-2008. FSU ) Used the TCP /UDP sockets for connecting the Client and the Server. One version did the TCP file transfer. Other version implemented a reliable file transfer mechanism on top of the unreliable UDP. Computer Skills Languages Web Java, C, C++ HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, XML,PHP Database Systems SQL. Operating Systems MS Windows 98/2000/XP/vista, UNIX ,LINUX , MAC OS X Tools MS Office , Dreamweaver , Latex , DOxygen ,GDB, DDD, SVN References on demand.
