The student will be able to discuss microbes and the process of infection in the eye and body. The student will gain a working knowledge of disorders and management of disorders of the iris, ciliary body and choroid. The student will be able to describe forms of lens opacities, and discus the treatment. The student will gain a working knowledge of disorders affecting the vitreous. The student will gain a working knowledge of systemic medications. The student will be able to identify and discuss medications used in the treatment of ocular disorders.
