Student Learning Outcome Summit – Expected Outcomes
November 6, 2015
 Engage in dialogue with other faculty and staff about meaningful assessments
and how these assessments contribute to student success and institutional
improvement. Review ILO assessment progress.
 Analyze and improve rubrics that have been used to assess Course Learning
Outcomes. Review the importance of selecting and creating the useful rubrics
for the assessment of Program Learning Outcomes and Institutional Learning
Outcomes “roll-up” assessments.
 Review the SLO, Assessment, and ILO section of the Course Outline of Record.
 Discuss and analyze Department Course and/or Program Learning Outcomes
that require completion or revision.
 Actively engage in assessment of Written Communication and Ethics and
Values Institutional Learning Outcomes.
