Someone who writes the words for the story.
What is an illustrator?
The person who draws the pictures for the book.
How can he be both?
Eric Carle is a very talented man and can be both the
author and illustrator because he believed in
himself.
He decided that it would be more fun to draw and
write the story on his own so that it was all his own
work.
Could we be the author and illustrator if we wanted?

Why are we interested?
