Cancer is an important topic to study because it is a serious disease that many people battle and also because it is a result of cells that are dividing out of control. Each project will include: Brief history of the cancer such as: How long have we known about it? Who discovered it? Causes of your particular cancer Symptoms that are seen in your type of cancer. How does this particular type of cancer affect the body? How are the normal bodily functions altered? Treatments of your cancer (new and old) Incidence and mortality/survival rates (any group or race more likely to get this type of cancer? Why? Risk factors?) Prevention of your type of cancer Presentation: All Google presentations must be shared with [email protected] and are due Monday, March 5th before class.
