How do Sedimentary Rocks Form?
1. Rocks can crumble to make small particles.
2. The particles are carried away by rivers or wind.
3. The particles settle in another place they form a layer.
4. Other layers are put on top of them.
5. The lower layers get pressed together.
6. Water is squeezed out. The minerals left in the
sedimentact like cement
7. The pressure and the mineral cement stick the
particles together.
8. The solid rock forms slowly.
