Monday
NGSS: SC.912.L.17.9
Essential Question: How does energy flow through an ecosystem?
CCSS: Writing standard for literacy in science #7
Objective: I will be able to identify and distinguish between producers, consumers, and
decomposers by researching two of each type from the list of multiple species assigned to me by
my group.
Agenda: RTW
 Finish Part 1-3 Project
 Introduce Part 4 (Fill out a predator/prey chart based on food chain)
Assessment: Six cards of research information (summative); six food chains (summative)
Materials: species list, iPads, scissors, scrap paper, chart
Notes: Article summaries due Friday.
