2005-14: Programme Controller / Director, Audio Book Radio, an Internet Radio Station
dedicated to spoken word. Own original concept. Responsible for content management,
programme schedule and editing.
1999-2003: Dublin Film Office. Head of Development for literature and music. (Inner City
Regeneration). Script consultant, proof reader and editor of all new works. (TV, Novels and
Screenplays). Stage Production Manager on various fringe Theatre Productions. Sound
recordist on several short films. Music composer for all in-house projects, both commercial
and corporate.
1998-1999: Script Editor and Proofreader, The Book Bureau, Dublin. Working with newly
signed writers of both fiction and non-fiction. Consultant and Advisor on all new projects.
1998: Book Editor (Fiction), Yorkshire Art Circus, England. Proofreader and creative editor of
works by new writers. All stages of development, from first draft through to final copy.
1996-1997: Producer / Editor / Music Composer. Drama series for Scholastic Publications.
Eight two-hour Audio recordings released worldwide. All works completed @ Audio
Productions, London.
1994-1996: Co-Director and Script Consultant on T.E.F.L. Language companies included
Heinemann, Berlitz and Accelerated Learning. All works completed @ Audio Productions,
London.
1988 - 1998: Studio Manager / Producer, Audio Productions, London. Duties included
Studio Bookings, Recording Engineering and Production Control. Office work included
Networking, Finance, Marketing, Copy Writing and Press. Daily contact with actors agencies
and personal management. Responsible for all administration, security, hiring of freelance
staff, and liaison with existing and potential client base. Over two-thousand Audio titles
recorded and edited. All released worldwide. 250 titles Produced and Directed. Publishers
included BBC Worldwide, Harper Collins, Macmillan, Chivers Press, Hodder Headline,
Longmans and Oxford University Press. Actors directed and recorded for Audio include:
Prunella Scales, Derek Jacobi, Anna Massey and Andrew Sachs. Actors and authors recorded
reading their own work includes: Spike Milligan (5 war memoirs), Sir John Gielgud (Early
Stages), and Laurie Lee (Cider with Rosie).
Studio work includes: The Church, Crouch End, London (The Eurythmics), The Gallery,
Chertsey, Surrey, UK. (Roxy Music).
Composer of music for short films and radio drama / commercials. Publishers / Companies
include Warner Brothers, Phonogram and Chrysalis.
